Following the meeting, an association dinner (dress lounge suits) was held at 7pm for members at the same venue.
Autumn Meeting: 5th to 7th September 2014, Sandy and Old Warden.
Accommodation: The Holiday Inn, Garden Court, Gifford Bridge, London road, Sandy, Cambridgeshire.
Arrivals by air were made to Biggleswade, Old Warden Airfield (standby/alternate – Cranfield).

Arrival and informal dinner at the hotel. | |
Saturday 6th September | |
Coach left the hotel to visit the newly refurbished Swiss Gardens and Shuttleworth Collection at Old Warden. | |
Lunch at the Old Warden airfield. Then return to hotel by coach. | |
Departed hotel for guided tour of Shuttleworth Collection, pre-dinner drinks and black tie dinner, again at the Shuttleworth site. | |
Sunday 7th September | |
The AGM was held at the Holiday Inn, Sandy. | |
Members took their own transport to Old Warden. | |
Members and their guests had group ticket access to a special BMPA enclosure at Old Warden, with packed lunch. The world-renowned late-summer airshow was enjoyed by all and included a demonstration of the amazing de Havilland Comet Racer. | |
