Joint meeting with L’Association Aeromedicale de France. Saw the only publication of “The British Medical Pilot”. 60 aircraft attended (20 British, 40 French), Dr Wissfield’s machine lost its undercarriage on landing. 62 members and guests of the BMPA were there, with 130 from L’AAM completing the attendees. Accommodation and events were at the Miramar and Mermaid hotels and the Channel Islands Aero Club bar. The Guinness Cup was not awarded as Jersey is permanently IFR.
