Spring Meeting: 21st-22nd March 1987, RAF Hendon
Three museums were on the menu, the RAF, the Battle of Britain and the Bomber Command and the next day the de Havilland Mosquito Museum at London Coley. Accommodation was at the Hendon Hall Hotel, formerly the home of David Garrick. At a formal dinner in the Roundel Room, four past presidents were present, along with Dr Bain.

Autumn Meeting: 4th-5th September 1987, Stratford Upon Avon
To the Royal Shakespeare Theatre on Friday Evening for “The Taming of the Shrew“. A five-centre tour of the town on Saturday and finally a hilarious medieval banquet at Warwick Castle. An unashamed pleasure weekend with record attendance of 85 – with 96 at the banquet. Seven German-flown aircraft, six British and two French.
