There were two meetings in 2016.
Spring Meeting: Saturday 27th February 2016, London.
The Ballroom, Royal Air Force Club, 128 Piccadilly, London, W1J 7PY.
There was a full programme of lectures, contributed by Peter Mansfield, Sqn Ldr Ben Campion, Peter Saundby, Capt. Roger Bailey, Mr Jon Roper. A wide range of topics was covered, including the German Wings tragedy, pilot mental health, training pilots to fly vintage aircraft of the Shuttleworth Collection, and avionics.
Autumn Meeting: Friday 9th to Sunday 11th September 2016, Sywell.
A full programme of visits took place which included Burghley House, Stamford and Sywell Aviation Museum.
At the black tie dinner on the Saturday evening, the Presidential Badge of Office was handed over from Liana Middleton to Andrew Partner.
This proved to be a very successful and enjoyable meeting for all concerned.
